A major focus this year will continue to center around attendance concerns. Once a student has been absent 10 days, any further absences must be accompanied by a doctor's note or the absence will be considered unexcused. Additionally, every 5 days tardy will be converted to an unexcused absence. Student need to be in school by the start of first period, anyone arriving after 8:00 will be recorded as tardy. Students with excessive absences will be removed from Bristol Prep and will return to their high school of origin.
